Typescript church book, 1824-1866, containing lists of African American slaves and white members and minutes of church business meetings. Includes information regarding the deaths, dismissals, and exclusions (expulsions) of members. Records were copied as part of the South Carolina Historical Records Survey. Photostatic copy of article published in the Edgefield advertiser, Jan. 17, 1951, regarding a proposal to reactivate the church ("It has been many years since services were held there regularly and many will rejoice to know that efforts are now being made to have it re-organized").
